At Printlux, we're always excited when a customer brings us an idea that challenges the traditional way of doing things.
Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Dan Weeks and Spartans Football Club to create 80 completely bespoke trophies designed to celebrate the players, the season, and the memories made along the way.
Moving Beyond Standard Football Trophies
Dan's vision was simple.
He wanted to create something players would genuinely value and proudly display, rather than receiving another generic trophy that looked the same as every other award they'd collected over the years.
The goal was to design a keepsake that reflected the commitment, teamwork and achievements of every player throughout the season.
The Design Process
Working closely with Dan, our team developed a premium layered acrylic trophy featuring:
• Three layers of precision-cut acrylic
• A football-inspired central design
• Personalised player details
• Custom engraved plaques
• Freestanding display construction
• Premium materials throughout
The layered acrylic construction added depth, quality and visual impact, creating an award that felt substantial, modern and completely unique to the Spartans team.
A Trophy Worth Keeping
One of the biggest challenges with traditional sports awards is that they often lack personality.
These bespoke football trophies were designed to be different.
Every player received an award created specifically for them, celebrating not only achievement but also their contribution to the team and the season as a whole.
The result was a collection of trophies that players will proudly display long after the final whistle.

All 80 trophies were designed, manufactured and assembled by the Printlux team at our Bridgnorth headquarters in Shropshire.
